A privately owned family business with a solid reputation in the Scrap Metal Recycling Industry. Our primary function is the collection and processing of scrap metal to supply both domestic and international industries that require end-of-life metals to produce new products.

What are we looking for:

n

We are looking for an experienced HR Truck Driver (or higher) who is reliable, safety-focused and takes pride in their work.

n

We want someone who drives safely, looks after company vehicles and customer property, communicates well and can be trusted to get the job done.

n

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with some Saturday work as required.

n

What You'll be doing:

n

Operating a variety of trucks, including hook, skip, flatbed, Merrell, dog trailer and car carrier

n

Completing collections and deliveries safely and efficiently

n





Liaising with the Transport Supervisor and customers

n

Tracking bin movements and maintaining accurate job records

n

Completing pre-start checks and reporting vehicle or site issues

n

What you need:

n

Current HR licence or higher

n

Previous heavy vehicle driving experience

n

Strong safety awareness and responsible driving habits

n

A reliable and professional attitude

n

Valuable communication and customer service skills

n

Confidence using a mobile phone/tablet for allocated jobs via ReMatter app

n

Ability to pass random drug and alcohol testing

n

Hiab crane experience is desirable

n

Experience with hook lifts, skips, scrap metal, recycling or similar industries will be highly regarded.
