Located in Cecil Hills, we are a boutique early childhood education and care service licensed for just 29 children. Our smaller size allows us to create something truly special—we genuinely know our children, families and each other.

About the Role

We are excited to be looking for a special educator to join our team!

We are seeking a warm, genuine and reliable Certificate III or Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator , or an educator currently working towards their qualification.

This position is approximately 50 hours per fortnight , with the potential for additional hours as our service continues to grow.

Our service operates Monday to Friday between 7:00 am and 5:30 pm , with typical shifts including:

- 7:00 am – 1:00 pm
- 12:00 pm – 5:30 pm
- Occasional full-day shifts from 7:00 am – 5:30 pm

We are ideally looking for someone who is available to commence within the next couple of weeks .

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of our team, you will:

- Create a safe, nurturing, inclusive and engaging environment for children
- Build meaningful and respectful relationships with children and their families
- Contribute to planning and implementing play-based learning experiences based on children's interests, strengths and developmental needs
- Observe and document children's learning and development
- Support children's health, safety, wellbeing and individual needs
- Work collaboratively with a small team of educators to create a positive and consistent environment
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with families and colleagues
- Maintain a clean, protected and welcoming learning environment
- Follow service policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Bring your own ideas, creativity, interests and personality to our educational program
- Participate in ongoing professional learning and continuous improvement

What You’ll Need

- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or currently working towards a recognised qualification
- Current NSW Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR qualifications, or willingness to obtain and maintain them
- Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management training, or willingness to obtain and maintain them
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS)
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work positively and collaboratively within a small team

Previous experience in an early childhood education and care setting will be highly regarded.
