The Role

n

Working within a small underground maintenance team, you'll spending 80% of your time on the tools and 20% carrying out leading hand responsibilities. Your duties will include:

n

n
- Completing servicing, planned maintenance, diagnostics, breakdown repairs and general repairs
n
- Providing hands‐on maintenance support across both the underground workshop and field
n
- Leading and mentoring a team of HD Fitters and Auto Electricians across daily maintenance activities
n
- Coordinating workloads, planned maintenance and breakdown priorities to improve equipment availability
n




- Supporting safety, quality, training and continuous improvement across the maintenance team
n

The Equipment

n

You'll work across a diverse underground fleet, including:

n

n
- Sandvik drills, boggers and underground trucks
n
- Volvo integrated tool carriers
n
- Supporting underground light vehicles and ancillary equipment as required
n

n

Your Skills and Experience

n

You'll be an experienced underground HD Fitter who is comfortable remaining hands‐on while supporting and leading a small team. You'll also have:

n

n
- Australian-recognised Heavy Diesel or Mobile Plant trade qualifications
n
- Previous leadership, supervisory or Leading Hand experience
n
- Underground hard-rock mining experience
n
- Strong fault‐finding skills and the ability to work autonomously underground
n
- A current driver's licence and a safety‐focused, reliable approach to work
n
- Experience maintaining Sandvik underground equipment, particularly drills, will be highly regarded.
n

The Roster and Camp

n

- 2:2 roster consisting of seven days, seven nights and 14 days off
n
- 12-hour shifts, running approximately 5:30am to 5:30pm
n
- Private hotel‐style room with an ensuite and access to local gym facilities
n
- Buffet‐style breakfast and dinner provided, along with crib for each shift
n
- Daily shuttle bus to and from site, with travel taking approximately 25 minutes
