Accountant/Senior Accountant (Business Services)

About the role ASM Partners Pty Ltd' is seeking an experienced Accountant or Senior Accountant to join our energetic Business Services team based in the Melbourne CBD. This full-time role will see you providing high-quality accounting and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries.

Candidates must be Australian citizens or permanent residents with full work authorisation.

n

What you'll be doing

n

Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, BAS and other tax reporting for clients

n

Providing strategic business services including budgeting, forecasting and identifying opportunities for growth

n

Ensuring clients maintain compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations

n

Building strong relationships with clients and proactively identifying ways to add value

n

Supervising and mentoring junior team members

n

Contributing to the continuous improvement of our service delivery and internal processes

n

What we're looking for

n

Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field

n

CPA or CA qualification (or working towards)

n

Minimum 3 years' experience in public practice is essential for this position

n

Excellent technical accounting and tax knowledge, with a commercial mindset

n

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusted advisor relationships

n

Demonstrable experience in managing a portfolio of clients and leading a team

n
