One of our Federal Government Clients is seeking to engage a Senior Cloud Architect / Cloud Engineer - EL1 Level. This is a long-term contractual position.

Contract Duration: 03 Years (12 months initially + 24 months extension)

Work Location: Canberra (03 Days office/02 Days home per week)

- Minimum 5+ years hands‐on Azure Cloud experience implementing and managing enterprise cloud solutions.
n
- Azure architecture & solution design – enterprise-level cloud platform architecture and high-level/detailed solution architecture.
n
- Azure App Services

- Azure Functions

- Azure Logic Apps
n
- Azure SQL
n
- Azure Service Bus
n
- Azure API Management (APIM)
n
- Azure DevOps – repositories, code management, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines/deployments.

- Identity & Security – Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Key Vault and RBAC.
n
- Azure Networking – Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints and secure cloud connectivity.
n
- Monitoring & Observability – Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
n




- Integration experience – integrating Azure/cloud platforms with third‐party and enterprise systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
n
- M365 architecture experience – enterprise‐level Microsoft 365 cloud platform architecture.
n
- Cloud security & governance – solutions aligned with Australian Government / Whole‐of‐Government standards.
n
- Architecture documentation – ability to produce solution architectures and detailed technical/architecture guidance for engineering teams.
n
- Technical leadership – provide architectural direction, impact analysis, technical guidance and mentor engineers/team members.
n
- Agile delivery experience – working in multidisciplinary teams with architects, developers, BAs, testers, Scrum Masters and business stakeholders.
n
- Solid stakeholder engagement – able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
n
- Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams and adapt quickly when requirements/scope change.
n
- Understanding of DTA Digital Service Standard and user-centred government digital delivery.
