About the Role

n

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven Import Customer Service Officer to join our National Import Team, based in our Melbourne office.

n

You will join a friendly and supportive team with a wealth of industry experience, providing exceptional service and support for import shipments. As a key point of contact for our customers, you will build and maintain strong relationships, assist with enquiries, and deliver a high standard of service throughout the import shipment lifecycle. The team is dedicated to delivering outstanding service and will support your professional growth and career development.

This role would suit someone with sea freight import experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering responsive and reliable customer service.

To be successful in this role you will:

n

n
- Have experience working in imports (or exports) within shipping or freight forwarding
n
- Be an excellent communicator over email and phone
n
- Have a passion for delivering world-class customer service.
n
- Be well organised and adept at managing your time
n
- Have experience in meeting deadlines whilst maintaining a strong attention to detail.
n
- Enjoy working both in a team and independently
n
- Have basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office 365.
n
- Have a general interest and knowledge of the shipping and logistics industry. Prior experience in the Australian / New Zealand shipping industry is highly desirable, but not essential!
