CDC Regional NSW operates from numerous depots from the Ballina, Coffs Harbour and ACT regions.
n Working out of either the Queanbeyan, Coffs Harbour or Ballina Depots the HSEQ advisor, plays a key role in supporting the organisation throughout the Regional NSW.

This role reports to the RNSW General Manager with a dotted line to the HSEQ General Manager based in QLD. Working closely with all levels of the organisation you will be comfortable getting out in the depot or into a bus.

Experience interpreting, advising and applying WHS legislation

n

Working knowledge of WHS and industry best practices, and Work Health & Safety

n

Experience in the writing/development of risk assessments

n

Experience with facilitating WHS audits & inspections

n

Ability to monitor and review health & safety documentation, practices for compliance with both policies/procedures/guidelines and statutory requirements

n

Demonstrated ability to influence and implement change.

n

Skilled to investigate, research and analyse information to create policy and/or procedures.

n





A cert IV in OH&S; or higher in Work Health and Safety

n

HLTPAT005 – Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing
n -Desirable but we will train you for this

n

TLIF0005 – Apply a fatigue risk management system
n -Desirable but we will train you for this

n

ICAM or equivalent Incident Management Training Qualification
n -Desirable but we will train you in this

n

Working knowledge of Heavy Vehicle National Law and Regulations
n -Desirable but we will train you in this
