We are an established and busy automotive service provider located in the heart of Surrey Hills, Melbourne. We are seeking a skilled, dedicated, and experienced Motor Mechanic / European Vehicle Specialist to join our professional workshop team. You will perform advanced mechanical diagnostics, routine logbook servicing, and complex electronic troubleshooting specifically on European vehicle makes including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, and Porsche.

Key responsibilities

Perform advanced mechanical diagnostics, routine logbook servicing, and complex electronic troubleshooting specifically on European vehicle makes (including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, and Porsche)

n

Diagnose, repair, and overhaul engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, and braking systems to strict manufacturer standards

n

Utilize specialized European diagnostic scan tools, software, and equipment for ECU coding, module programming, and system resets

n

Conduct comprehensive repairs and component overhauls on engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, and braking systems to strict manufacturer specifications

n





Perform thorough safety inspections and rigorous road testing to ensure the highest standard of repair quality

n

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment while keeping accurate service and repair documentation

n

About you

n

Hold an AQF Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or an equivalent recognized international trade qualification

n

Minimum 3 years of hands‐on post‐qualification experience as a Motor Mechanic, with proven, extensive experience working on European automotive brands and their advanced electronic architectures

n

Excellent cross‐cultural communication and customer relations skills

n

Strong attention to detail, exceptional problem‐solving abilities, and a commitment to workplace health and safety standards

n

Attractive hourly rate of $41.00 - $43.00 per hour + Superannuation

n
