Key responsibilities

- Manage commercial construction projects from planning and design through to completion and handover
n
- Lead project budgets, programmes, procurement, contracts, variations and reporting
n
- Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal delivery teams
n
- Prepare and manage construction programmes, project management plans and delivery strategies
n
- Proactively manage project risks, issues, defects and stakeholder expectations
n
- Oversee procurement activities, including scopes of work, consultant appointments and trade packages
n
- Manage RFIs, design coordination and changes to ensure programme, cost and quality outcomes are maintained
n
- Ensure compliance with the National Construction Code (NCC), relevant Australian Standards and applicable WHS legislation
n
- Drive safety, quality and programme performance across all stages of delivery
n
- Maintain solid client relationships and provide clear, consistent reporting throughout the project lifecycle
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement, audits and quality systems in line with company standards
n

Client & Stakeholder Management

n

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and key internal and external stakeholders through clear, proactive and professional communication
n
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients on assigned projects, providing accurate, timely and practical advice throughout the project lifecycle
n




- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with agreed scope, programme, budget and quality outcomes
n
- Prepare and present project information, reports and recommendations to support informed decision‐making
n
- Maintain a high standard of client service and contribute to repeat work and long‐term client relationships
n

About you

n

n
- 7+ years' experience in the property & construction industry
n
- 4+ years' experience as a Project Manager delivering commercial design & construction projects
n
- Demonstrated experience managing projects through the full lifecycle
n
- Proven experience working remotely to deliver complex projects
n
- Experience delivering projects valued between $500K–$10M
n
- Strong working knowledge of the NCC, Australian Standards and WHS requirements
n
- Sound commercial acumen, including budgeting, contracts, procurement and cost control
n
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- A practical, solutions‐focused approach with a high level of ownership and accountability
n
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
n
- Qualifications in project management, engineering, facilities management or a related discipline
n
- Trade qualification with relevant experience (considered in lieu of degree)
n
- Hold an AGSVA NV2 security clearance (highly regarded) or the ability to obtain one employed.
