About Your Role

n

You will be working for a national public sector organisation that provides leadership, policy support, and quality assurance for a highly regulated service sector, collaborating with governments and stakeholders across Australia.

n

You are a hands‐on Analyst who builds, monitors, investigates and uplifts security controls.

n

Your Responsibilities

n

n
- Application security testing, developer/vendor collaboration; Azure IaaS + PaaS (Dynamics, Power Platform)
n
- Cloud Administration: administer, configure, and uplift security baselines across the Microsoft stack
n
- Australian ISM and Essential 8 framework compliance
n
- Own incident response lifecycle – from containment through to reporting
n

About You

n

n
- Minimum 5 years in a technical cyber security, cloud security, Azure administration, or Microsoft security administration role
n




- Practical implementation experience of Essential Eight ML2 and ISM controls in a Microsoft Azure / M365 environment
n
- Experience administering and securing Microsoft Azure environments and security technologies such as Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID, Azure Policy, Purview, M365 at SIEM/EDR level
n
- Demonstrated capabilities in incident Response, vulnerability Management, and Essential Eight frameworks
n
- Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to assess, prioritise, and communicate cyber security risks
n
- Ability to communicate technical cyber security and cloud security concepts to non‐technical stakeholders
n
