Bayswater Family Practice provides whole patient comprehensive medical care to patients and their families. This includes antenatal care, childhood and adult immunization, preventative medicine, skin cancer surgery, chronic disease management, aged care and end of life care. The ethos is to provide "cradle to the grave" medicine. It is a private billing family general practice. It has 5 consulting rooms and 3 procedure rooms. It shares a spacious car park and waiting room with a Physiotherapy practice.

We are seeking an experienced medical receptionist to join our growing team

n

Qualifications & experience

n

Experience in private medical practice

n

Qualifications in business and/or medical administration

n





confident and competent patient / consumer communication skills

n

Competence with word processing, spreadsheets, faxes, emails , printers and computers.

n

demonstrated capacity to work in a small and busy team

n

Experience with using Best Practice Software desirable

n

Tasks & responsibilities

n

greeting patients at reception

n

making and managing patient appointments

n

billing for consultations and procedures

n

working closely with our nurses and doctors

n

handling patient enquires, face to face and by telephone

n

Experience working with a small skilled team providing high quality comprehensive medical care to patients and their families.
