Job Description

Vehicle repairs and maintenance technician role involving vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and a range of maintenance and repair tasks on vehicles and equipment.

Key responsibilities

n

Carry out vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks as needed

n

Carry out vehicle inspections and diagnostics

n

Perform basic maintenance tasks on equipment and tools

n

Perform minor service/logbook service, pre-purchase inspection, oil changes, brake servicing, suspension work, tyre changing (fit & balancing)

n

Perform general replacements including alternator, radiator, AC compressor etc

n

Perform engine work including gaskets and engine swaps

n

Assist in customer service duties such as greeting clients and providing assistance as required

n

Maintain the shop clean, organised, and secure at all times

n

Assist with ordering as necessary

n

Open the shop in the mornings

n

About you

n

Cert 3 or hands on experience is required

n

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required

n

Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

n

Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required

n

Valid driver's licence

n
