TRADES ASSISTANT - ASSEMBLY - AEROSPACE & DEFENCE

Great opportunity to join a successful Engineering business in the North East suburbs, this well-established company has strong stable history in Precision Engineering and High End manufacturing requires a Factory Hand / Trades Assistance / Parts Assembly person for various duties.

This is a current position that will involve various tasks. It is necessary to be flexible with skills and be willing to move around the section to keep up with demand. Everyone within the workshop works as a team and most people are multi-skilled.

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include (but not limited to) being responsible for assembling precision components, using hand tools, polishing, packing finished product, and general factory duties.





Some work is large and heavy and may require lifting, we also need someone that can use hand tools and has an understanding of assembling mechanical components.

- Experience with hand tools
- Assembly skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- High attention to detail
