Colonial Foods is seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team. This is a hands‑on position that also includes making local deliveries in our company van, which has a manual transmission.
Key responsibilities
- Must be able to work Monday - Friday from 6am to 2pm
- Safely load, unload and move stock using a forklift
- Receive, check and correctly store incoming goods
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders
- Load the company van and complete local deliveries
- Accurately complete delivery and warehouse paperwork
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse
- Assist with stock takes and general warehouse duties
To be successful, you will need
- A current Australian forklift licence
- Proven forklift and warehouse experience
- A current driver’s licence and the ability to confidently drive a manual van
- A safe driving record
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling
- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
- Valuable communication and customer‑service skills
- Careful attention to order accuracy and stock handling
Experience working in food manufacturing, food distribution or a similar environment would be advantageous.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, follows safety procedures and is comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
