Job Description

TSS Sensitive Freight is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our operations team at our Erskine Park facility.

n

This role is suited to someone with strong linehaul experience who understands the importance of loading freight safely, efficiently and correctly. You will work as part of a busy warehouse and transport operation handling sensitive, high-value and specialised freight.

About the role

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Loading and unloading linehaul vehicles
n
- Safely operating counterbalance forklifts
n
- Staging and preparing freight for interstate and local transport
n
- Checking freight against manifests and paperwork
n
- Ensuring freight is loaded safely and correctly
n
- Identifying and reporting damaged or incorrectly labelled freight
n
- Securing and handling sensitive, high-value and specialised items
n
- Completing general warehouse duties as required
n
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
n
- Working closely with drivers, allocators and warehouse team members to meet departure schedules
n

About you

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- A current Australian High Risk Work Licence - Forklift (LF)
n
- Previous forklift experience within a transport, logistics or linehaul environment
n
- Experience loading and unloading interstate linehaul vehicles
n
- A good understanding of load placement, weight distribution and safe freight handling
n




- Strong attention to detail when checking freight and documentation
n
- The ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
n
- Good communication and teamwork skills
n
- A reliable work history and strong attendance
n
- The physical ability to assist with manual handling when required
n

n

Experience handling sensitive, high-value, medical or specialised freight will be highly regarded.
