Our client is a high-growth fintech and as the business scales, they're building out their risk and compliance capability and need a sharp Compliance Analyst to help lead the way.

You'll be close to the decision makers, trusted to get things done and given the scope to shape how compliance works across the business.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Keeping the business on the right side of its AML/CTF and privacy obligations
n
- Getting across regulatory change and helping the business adapt
n
- Owning breach and incident matters from start to finish, including reportable situations
n
- Spotting patterns in complaints and AFCA disputes and pushing for fixes that stick
n
- Supporting AML/CTF activity and AUSTRAC reporting
n
- Helping build out operational risk tracking and controls
n
- Pulling together reporting for senior leadership and the Board

- Being the go-to compliance contact for sales, credit and customer teams, including running training
n

What you'll bring

n

n
- 2 to 6 years in compliance or risk, ideally within consumer credit, non-bank lending or broader financial services
n
- Hands-on experience with breaches, complaints and AFCA
n
- Some exposure to operational risk and controls work
n
- Transparent, confident writing that works for both frontline staff and a Board audience
n
- A practical approach and the ability to earn trust with commercial teams without losing your independence
n
- Energy for a growing business where not everything is built yet
