We are seeking an experienced and people-focused Centre Director to lead our well-established Busy Bees at The Park service. This large, high-performing centre is exceptionally well resourced, with a highly experienced leadership structure.

As the face of the service, you will play a visible, hands-on leadership role focused on building robust relationships with families, supporting and mentoring your team, and driving occupancy, financial performance and operational excellence.

What you'll do

- Lead the day-to-day operations of a high-quality early learning service.
n
- Drive occupancy growth and financial performance in line with budget targets.
n
- Build, mentor and retain a high-performing leadership team.
n
- Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework and ACT regulations.
n
- Foster a culture of safety, inclusion, and educational excellence.
n
- Develop strong partnerships with families and the local community.
n
- Collaborate with your Area Director and support functions to achieve strategic goals.
n
- Lead performance management, workforce planning, and succession planning.
n

What you'll bring

- A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values.

- Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)
n




- Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People Registration (WWVP).
n
- Proven experience leading a service, ideally within a medium to large centre environment.
n
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), EYLF, and compliance requirements.
n
- Demonstrated ability to manage occupancy, rosters, and financial performance.
n
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
