Senior SAP Software Engineer / Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Software Engineer / Developer to join a large, complex enterprise technology environment.

n

This is a senior technical role suited to an accomplished SAP developer who can take ownership across the software development lifecycle, deliver high-quality solutions and provide technical leadership to other developers.

n

You will play a key role in the design, development, maintenance and testing of SAP solutions, working closely with analysts, functional consultants and other technology specialists to deliver secure, efficient and reliable applications.

n

You will play a key role in the design, development, maintenance and testing of SAP solutions, working closely with analysts, functional consultants and other technology specialists to deliver secure, efficient and reliable applications.

Key Responsibilities

n

In this role, you will:

n

- Develop, configure and maintain SAP solutions and modules
n
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
n
- Design, code, test and implement SAP enhancements, reports and interfaces
n
- Support integration between SAP and other enterprise systems
n
- Investigate and resolve SAP-related technical issues
n
- Contribute to system upgrades, patching and performance testing
n
- Provide technical advice and mentoring to junior developers
n
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation
n
- Support software release, deployment and configuration activities
n




- Contribute to solution and systems design
n
- Work collaboratively within agile delivery environments
n
- Maintain a strong focus on software quality, security and engineering standards
n

Technical Skills

n

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience across technologies including:

- SAP S/4HANA
n
- SAP ABAP, including experience with CRM and/or ECC modules
n
- SAP CRM
n
- SAP BRF+
n
- SAP UI5
n
- OData services
n
- SAP integration, testing and deployment
n

What You'll Bring

n

You will have strong practical experience working as a senior SAP developer within large and complex enterprise environments.

n

Of particular importance is demonstrated experience with ECC to S/4HANA upgrades, migrations or remediation activities.

n

You will also bring experience in areas such as:

- Leading software development activities across the delivery lifecycle
n
- Designing complex software applications, components and modules
n
- Systems design and integration
n
- Release and deployment planning
n
- Software configuration management
n
- Testing, including manual and automated approaches
n
- Applying appropriate development methods, tools and engineering standards
n
- Providing specialist technical advice
n
- Identifying technical risks, options and design trade-offs
n
- Mentoring developers and contributing to continuous improvement
n

Working Arrangements

n

The successful candidate will be required to work onsite full time for the first six weeks.

n

Following this period, a hybrid working arrangement may be considered. Candidates must live within reasonable travelling distance of their nominated work location and be able to attend onsite when required.

n

Available work locations are ACT, Victoria and South Australia.

n

Security Requirements

n

Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance. The required security clearance must be in place before commencing the engagement.
