An enterprise digital team is delivering a multi-year Digital Modernisation Program, transforming customer services, business operations and digital experiences.

As a Senior Engineer, you'll work closely with a Principal Engineer and wider product, engineering and architecture teams to deliver a current flagship Salesforce-based digital platform, including application development, integrations, data migration and legacy system decommissioning.

About the role

n

You'll be responsible for the technical design and delivery of Salesforce solutions across customer-facing applications and complex service journeys.

n

Key responsibilities include

n

n
- Design and develop scalable Salesforce applications, data models and integrations.
n
- Build and enhance solutions using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
n
- Work across Salesforce Service Cloud and customer-facing portals.
n
- Design and implement integrations using Salesforce APIs and established integration patterns.
n
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies, technical design and solution planning.
n
- Develop, test and deploy high-quality software using modern engineering and DevOps practices.
n
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot defects and contribute to quality assurance.
n
- Support data migration, go-live, system transition and legacy platform decommissioning.
n
- Collaborate with product managers, BAs, designers, architects and business stakeholders.
n
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement across the team.

What we're looking for

n

Essential

n

n
- Strong hands-on Salesforce development experience, particularly Apex and LWC.
n
- Experience delivering multiple new Salesforce platforms or application builds.
n
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform limits, performance and security.
n
- Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and customer-facing portals.
n
- Experience designing Salesforce integrations using APIs and standard integration patterns.
n
- Exposure to MuleSoft or similar integration platforms.
n
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps, source-driven development and CI/CD, ideally using Azure DevOps.
n
- Understanding of Public Sector Solutions (PSS) and government/regulatory Salesforce environments.
n
- Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills.
n
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong focus on quality and delivery.
n

Desirable

n

n
- Experience with OmniStudio, including OmniScripts, DataRaptors and Integration Procedures.
n
- Advanced Salesforce Flow and automation experience.
n
- Exposure to Agentforce / Einstein and responsible AI implementation.
n
- Strong Apex testing and enterprise deployment practices.
n

n

This is an 11 month contract - start date ASAP

n

Rate is between $1,000 to $1,200 + Super depending on experience

n

Hybrid work arrangements - 2 in office / 3 from home

n

Based in Sydney - no fully remote option available.
