Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled, quality-driven TIG MIG Welder / Fabricator to join our busy production workshop. You will work across a diverse range of projects, predominantly focused on high-precision MIG/TIG welding of aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel.

Key responsibilities

- Perform high-quality, neat MIG /TIG welding on aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel components.
n
- Fabricate sheet metal products accurately from engineering drawings, blueprints, and job tickets.
n
- Handle general sheet metal processing, including cutting, folding, grinding, and linishing.
n
- Prep and finish fabrications cleanly, ensuring they are ready for our in-house powder coating line.
n
- Inspect completed work for structural integrity and pristine surface finish before it moves to the next stage.

About you

n

- Strong, proven experience in MIG/TIG welding of sheet metal (proficiency in aluminium and stainless steel is essential).
n
- Sound understanding of fabrication techniques
n
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and fabrication blueprints independently.
n




- Trade qualification in Engineering (Fabrication / Light Fabrication) or equivalent solid trade background.
n
- High attention to detail with pride in maintaining clean, weld-spatter-free finishes.
n
- Willingness to complete a short, practical in-house welding test at the interview to demonstrate TIG skills.
