Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing Brisbane team.

Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll be involved in delivering innovative and technically challenging structural solutions across a variety of projects. In this role, you will:

n

n
- Lead the structural design and delivery of projects including high-rise buildings, warehouses, industrial facilities, data centres, and other building developments.
n
- Prepare structural analysis, calculations, technical reports, specifications, and design documentation in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
n
- Review and check engineering calculations, drawings, and documentation prepared by junior engineers and drafters.
n
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers while ensuring high-quality project delivery.
n
- Prepare technical submissions and other project-related deliverables as required.
n
- Support construction activities by responding to RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, assessing design changes, and conducting site inspections when required.
n
- Apply a deep understanding of engineering principles to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems.

Project Delivery

n

Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.

n

Manage project schedules, deliverables, and priorities to meet client expectations and project deadlines.

n





Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, design standards, quality management systems, and workplace health and safety requirements.

n

Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to the successful delivery and commercial performance of projects.

Who are we looking for?

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
n
- Membership with Engineers Australia; CPEng and/or NER accreditation is highly regarded.
n
- 4+ years of experience in structural engineering within a consulting environment.
n
- Proficiency in ETABS, SPACE GASS, RAM Structural System, and RAPT.
n
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
n
- Site experience on at least one building project is highly desirable.
n
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
n
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
n
