Finance Assistant Role Overview

NC Associates are currently recruiting an experienced Fianance Assistantl for a successful and growing organisation based in Liverpool.

n

This is a excellent opportunity for someone with strong Finance experience who is confident managing high volumes of invoices, supplier accounts and payment runs. You'll join a supportive finance team and play a key role in assisting the team

n

Finance Assistant Responsibilities

n

n
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
n
- Managing supplier and customer accounts
n
- Bank and supplier statement reconciliations
n
- Processing payment runs
n
- Allocating incoming payments
n
- Raising invoices and credit notes
n
- Assisting with credit control and outstanding debt
n
- Resolving supplier and customer account queries
n




- Supporting month-end processes
n
- Preparing journals, accruals and prepayments
n
- Maintaining accurate financial records
n
- Assisting with ad-hoc finance and reporting duties
n

n

Finance Assistant Experience Required

n

n
- Previous experience within a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar role
n
- Good understanding of purchase and sales ledger
n
- Experience with bank reconciliations
n
- Confident using Excel and accounting systems
n
- Strong attention to detail
n
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
n
- AAT qualification or study would be advantageous but is not essential
n
