About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our dynamic team at EMD Motor Sport Pty Ltd in Caringbah, NSW 2229. This is a full time position offering a rewarding opportunity to work in a professional automotive environment. As a Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality mechanical services, diagnostics, and repairs to our customers' vehicles. This position is integral to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring customer satisfaction through skilled, reliable workmanship.

Key responsibilities

- Perform a range of mechanical repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine diagnostics, servicing, and component replacement
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues and determine the most appropriate repair solutions
- Use diagnostic equipment and testing tools to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems efficiently
- Follow technical specifications and manufacturer guidelines to ensure repairs are completed to the highest standard
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all work completed
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair requirements, timelines, and costs




- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
- Stay current with automotive industry developments and new technologies

What we're looking for

- A recognised automotive trade qualification or equivalent experience as a qualified Mechanic
- Proven experience in automotive mechanical repairs, diagnostics, and servicing
- Strong proficiency with diagnostic equipment and mechanical tools
- Knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and suspension
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and service manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Current First Aid certification is highly desirable
- Experience in a motor sport environment or performance vehicle servicing would be advantageous
