Casual team member in a busy trade centre warehouse. Small crew, flat out most days, no passengers.

This is physical work. Constant lifting, loading and unloading — by hand, no forklifts. On your feet all day. If you're after a job where you sit down, this isn't it.

Day to day:

n

Serving customers at the counter

n

Loading, unloading, stacking, unpacking, counting and presenting stock

n

Deliveries to customer work sites

n

Answering phones and using our computer system

n

Housekeeping — cleaning, tidying, keeping the place sharp

n

Backing up the rest of the team

n

WHAT YOU NEED

n

Clean driving record — no accidents or loss of licence in the last 5 years

n

The physical fitness to lift and move stock by hand for a full shift

n

Transparent communication and a presentable manner — you're in front of customers all day

n

To turn up, on time, every shift you're rostered

n

HANDY TO HAVE

n

Truck licence

n

Trade or labouring background — tiling, concreting, bricklaying, that sort of work
