Dandaloo Hotel Bottlemart is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team in Dapto, NSW. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst providing excellent customer service in our busy bottlemart environment. As a Sales Assistant, you will be at the forefront of our customer experience, helping to create a welcoming and effective shopping environment for all our patrons. This role is integral to our daily operations and directly contributes to customer satisfaction and sales performance.

What you'll be doing

Greeting customers warmly and providing friendly, knowledgeable assistance with product selection

n

Processing transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems

n

Restocking shelves and maintaining product displays to ensure the bottlemart is well-organised and visually appealing

n

Checking identification when required and ensuring compliance with relevant licensing laws

n

Handling cash and card payments securely and accurately

n

Answering customer enquiries about products, pricing and availability

n

Maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment, including floor and stockroom areas

n

Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation

n

Supporting promotional activities and point-of-sale displays

n

Following company policies and procedures at all times

n

What we're looking for

n

Previous retail or customer service experience is highly desirable

n





Robust communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse customers

n

Reliability and punctuality, with a flexible approach to casual shift work

n

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

n

Basic numeracy skills and accuracy when handling transactions

n

Physical capability to lift, carry and stack products regularly

n

Customer-focused attitude with a genuine desire to provide excellent service

n

Willingness to learn about our products and company procedures

n

Age 18 or over (as required for bottlemart operations)
