Sydney’s busy summer hospitality season is approaching and we are building our chef team now.

Alseasons Hospitality Staff is recruiting qualified chefs across all levels for casual agency work throughout Sydney.

Assignments can include restaurants, hotels, functions, corporate catering, major events, stadiums and high volume hospitality operations .

Agency work means different kitchens, clients and service styles. You need to be able to step into an established operation, adapt quickly and work confidently at the level you are booked for.

Chef levels we are recruiting

Commis Chefs

Minimum 2 years paid commercial kitchen experience after apprenticeship

Chef de Parties

Minimum 4 years paid commercial kitchen experience after apprenticeship

Sous Chefs

Minimum 6 years paid commercial kitchen experience after apprenticeship

Head Chefs

Experienced senior chefs with the judgement and leadership experience to operate at Head Chef level

For all levels, your experience must be paid commercial kitchen experience following your apprenticeship .

The work

Summer brings increased demand across Sydney hospitality.

Assignments can range from restaurant and function service to events, hotels, corporate catering and rapid paced high volume operations .

We are looking for chefs who can work quickly, cleanly and consistently.



You need to follow established recipes and systems, take direction and understand what is expected at your chef level.

Experience across restaurants, functions, events, hotels, corporate catering and high volume commercial kitchens is highly regarded.

Alseasons Hospitality Staff has been placing hospitality professionals since 1976 .

We work across hospitality operations throughout NSW, including restaurants, hotels, functions, corporate catering, major events, stadiums, clubs and other food and beverage operations.

We do not rely on an app to decide where you fit. Our coordinators look at your experience, availability and chef level when matching you to assignments.
