Full-Time Housekeeper – Private Family

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

- General household cleaning and tidying
- Laundry, including washing, drying, folding and putting clothing away
- Ironing and garment care
- Changing bed linen and making beds
- Keeping household areas, cupboards and belongings organised
- Helping the home run smoothly on a day-to-day basis
- Assisting with the children when needed
- Occasional household errands and other reasonable household tasks





The primary focus of the role is housekeeping and household organisation, with assistance involving the children as required.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Has previous experience working as a housekeeper in a private home
- Has excellent cleaning, laundry and ironing skills
- Is comfortable assisting with children when required
- Is trustworthy, discreet, reliable and punctual
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in maintaining high standards
- Is organised, proactive and able to identify what needs to be done
- Can work independently and manage their time effectively
- Is looking for a stable, long-term position
- Can provide strong references from previous employers
- Has, or is willing to obtain, a National Police Check and Working with Children Check
