Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage accounting functions - payroll (using Xero), accounts payable and receivable, bank and cash reconciliations and more
- Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports,
ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Assist with end of month accounting processes as well as preparing audit schedules and year-end financial statements
- Serve as a key contact for external audits and ensure compliance with all financial policies
- Collaborate with the CEO on daily financial operations of the business.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting or finance experience.
- Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Progress towards CA/CPA qualification is not essential but highly desirable.
- Experience utilising Excel and Xero or similar systems
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Must be located in or willing to work on the Gold Coast.
