Trade Assistant - We need your help to build specialist doors!!!

Coldshield is a market leader in the manufacture of commercial and industrial doors. We're currently seeking an energetic and reliable Trade Assistant to join our production team. This role would suit someone with a trade background who is looking to transition into a factory/production environment.

About the Role

n

You'll play a key role in the assembly and preparation of our industry-leading products. Daily tasks will include:

n

n
- Preparing and assembling commercial and industrial doors
n
- Cutting and machining aluminium and PVC sheet using CNC equipment (training provided)
n
- Assisting with picking and packing client orders
n
- Learning and applying basic 12/24v wiring (optional training provided)
n
- Using a wide variety of hand and power tools
n

What We're Looking For

This role would suit an individual with:

n

- Experience in manufacturing, aluminium, or joinery (preferred)
n
- Robust attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
n
- A current forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
n
- A solid work ethic and team-focused attitude
n
- A commitment to safety, quality and meeting deadlines
n
