Established in 2019, Pro Metal Design is a high end architectural metal company located in Hillsdale (NSW). We manufacture and install high quality custom metal creation to meet unique needs of each clients.

About the role

n

We are looking for a Metal fabricator with experience in the construction industry, or a junior seeking to build more experience with us. The role include unique/high end projects in brass, copper, stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium.

Tasks:

n

n
- Execution of all jobs in accordance with job requirements.
n
- Ability to understand and work from technical drawings.
n
- Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools and metal cutting machines.
n
- Ability to use machinery such as milling, lathe, rolling, cutting machine.
n
- Ability to use welders such as TIG and MIG.
n




- Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments.
n
- Ability to install jobs on site.
n
- Work closely with project teams to understand and execute project requirements to defence processes. and standards (training provided).
n
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
n
- The ability of rapid learning.
n
- Ability of shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering.
n
- Finishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutions.
n
