Angsana Early Learning Centre is a family-owned early learning centre with a passion for multilingual learning. We have created a purpose-built and designed centre for children aged 0-6 years old. A place of love, laughter and learning. Our multilingual approach will give children the opportunity to take advantage of the optimal time in their lives to learn languages other than English – like Mandarin and Spanish. We believe our children need to be equipped with the skills to communicate effectively so that they can be independent, creative and purposeful thinkers and learners. Our holistic program is developed around a play-and-learn pedagogy in a nurturing workplace that will encourage your child to explore, develop resilience and experience the world at large.

We have a variety of roles available for experienced educators who are interested to join our team.

Qualifications & experience

- Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- High level of proficiency in English, both in written and verbal communication
- Must have First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma/CPR and Child protection qualifications
- Completed the National Child Safety Training and have a deep understanding of Child Safe Practices
- Minimum 2 years room leadership experience is required for our leadership position
- Able to create a collaborative environment with team members and provide mentoring if needed.
- Must have full Australian working rights

Tasks & responsibilities

- To be responsible for the overall operation of the room including children, parents, education program, management of team and all aspects of administration and maintenance to ensure a suitable, viable room is provided to suit the needs of families and children.




- Assist in the development and support of other staff members by communicating effectively, sharing knowledge and experience, and delegating tasks appropriately.
- Maintaining a high standard and consistency of hygiene, and cleanliness in your room
- Maintaining organisation in the room to create a calming and orderly atmosphere for the children
- Passionate about education and be able to instil a love of learning in children
- To provide leadership whilst working as a member of a cooperative team to implement Angsana's educational program and to support the language teachers to implement the language lessons into the daily teaching and curriculum.
- Work collaboratively with Educational Lead on Angsana's educational program ensuring the curriculum meets and goes beyond EYLF standards with innovative ideas in educating children
- Building positive and caring relationships with families
- Availability to work any shift between 6.30am-6.30pm.
