About the Role

As a Cook, you'll play an important role in creating enjoyable dining experiences for our residents by:

- Help us prepare and cook a variety of dishes with creativity, and attention to dietary requirements
- Help us to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen workplace in line with cleaning and infection-control standards
- Keep accurate records of key kitchen and stock data
- Liaise with supervisors and suppliers regarding stock control and ordering
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Contribute ideas for menu development and special events

About you

To be successful, you'll bring:

- Demonstrated knowledge of commercial food preparation, cooking processes, and a strong knowledge of food hygiene.
- At least one year’s experience as a commercial cook
- Strong understanding of food safety legislation, texture-modified diets, and special dietary needs




- Experience in the aged care sector is highly regarded
- Valid Australian work rights (Sponsorship is not available)
