Job Description

Oversee and direct all bar operations including managing the staff on shift. The Bar Supervisor needs to ensure a continuity of exceptional customer service and culture; maintain product and service standards and adhere to standard operating procedures and efficiencies. Take full responsibility for all operations of the hotel when on shift.

Key responsibilities

n

Train, support and monitor quality and service standards for staff

n

Monitor cleanliness and hygiene of bar and restaurant area

n

Ensure compliance with all licensing laws and company policies at all times

n

Completion of all paperwork in a timely, consistent and accurate manner

n

Manage deliveries on shift

n

Manage and oversee all TAB and gaming procedures and compliance

n

Learn and maintain an excellent working knowledge and practical execution of the check-in and check out procedure for the Pub's accommodation

n





Manage security and incident reporting where appropriate

n

Manage entertainment relationships in office

n

Manage function bookings, bistro reservations to ensure customer experience is foremost

n

Handle end of day cash reconciliation, till management with accuracy and accountability

n

Manage lock up procedures

n

About you

n

Previous Bar and Restaurant management experience 2-3 years minimum

n

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

n

Knowledge of cash handling procedures and hospitality POS sales systems

n

Working knowledge of TAB facilities and Pokie machines

n

Adheres to an exceptional customer service culture at all times as well as being able to work as part of a team
