Key responsibilities

Skilled construction labouring

Assisting carpenters and other qualified trades

n

Using hand and power tools

n

Site preparation and clean-up

n

Moving and handling construction materials

n

Demolition and strip-out works

n

Concrete preparation and general civil works

n

Following SWMS and site safety requirements

n

Working alongside site supervisors and trades

n

About you

n

Minimum 2 years' construction experience

n

Current White Card – essential

n

Experience using hand and power tools

n

Full PPE – hard hat, hi-vis and steel-cap boots

n

Robust understanding of construction site safety

n

Physically fit and capable of manual work

n

Reliable and punctual

n

Ability to follow instructions and work within a team

n

Reliable transport highly regarded

n

Tickets including EWP, Working at Heights, Confined Space, Forklift, Traffic Control and plant tickets are highly regarded

n

$40.00 per hour

n

$25.00 travel allowance per day

n

Overtime rates apply

n
