Wellways Australia is seeking a Suicide Prevention Peer Worker – Lived Experience for a part time role (22.8 hours/week) based in Gympie or Rockhampton. This office-based position focuses on peer-led, recovery-focused connections and support, combining phone-based and in-person contact as required.

Your lived experience with suicidality or bereavement informs empathetic listening, validation, and safety planning to help participants navigate support pathways and feel seen, heard and valued.
