Big things are happening here at Country Club Tasmania, and we're looking for Greenkeepers or experienced Groundkeepers to come along for the ride as we bring our brand-new, world-class golf course to life, opening in December 2026.

What you can expect in a day in the role:

n

You'll bring a genuine passion for green/grounds keeping and take pride in maintaining exceptional standards across the grounds. With a solid interest in golf and a solid understanding of turf care, equipment use, and day-to-day maintenance tasks, you'll enjoy a role where no two days are the same.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Operate and maintain golf course machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
n
- Monitoring turf health and identifying pest, weed and disease issues
n
- Implement chemical and fertiliser programs to enhance all playing surfaces
n
- Conduct regular maintenance task ready for play ranging from but not limited to course set up, watering, mowing, edging, fertilising, bunker maintenance etc
n




- Excellent communications skills and assisting in training apprentices
n
- Team- Orientated mindset
n
- Demonstrated reliability, motivation and a strong work ethic.
n

What you'll bring to the role:

n

Along with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a team-oriented mindset, you will bring the following skills to the role:

n

n
- Certificate 3 in Sports Turf Management or hands-on experience in groundskeeping
n
- Availability across a 7-day rotating roster
n
- Experience in a similar environment
n
- Passion for the outdoors and the turf industry
n
- A forklift license and chemical handling certificate would be advantageous.
n

An appointee to this role may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks.
