Our client is a well-established Australian security integration business with over 40 years of industry experience. Known for long-term customer partnerships and a supportive workplace culture, they specialise in installing complex, high-end access control, IP CCTV, and intruder alarm systems. Due to ongoing growth, they are looking for a dedicated Security Technician to join their Victorian team to deliver new installation projects for major commercial and enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities

- Install, commission, and integrate high-end access control, IP CCTV, and alarm systems on recent commercial construction sites
- Work on major project installations using systems including Genetec, Avigilon, Integriti, and Axis
- Read and interpret site plans, cabling schematics, and technical specifications to complete site works
- Collaborate with site managers, builders, and project managers to meet project deadlines safely
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during system deployment and handovers




- Adhere strictly to site safety policies and maintain high standards of quality workmanship

Ideal Background

- Proven experience as a security technician working on commercial construction projects
- Strong technical knowledge of integrated access control, IP CCTV, and alarm platforms
- Valid Victorian Security Registration, Open Cabling Licence, and Construction Induction White Card
- Current Australian drivers licence
- Strong communication skills and a reliable, safety-focused work ethic
