We are looking for qualified chefs for our busy kitchen at The Boat Shed Restaurant, Darling Point Marine Agents Pty Ltd

The Boat Shed is a popular a la carte restaurant perched on the edge of the Maroochy River at Cotton Tree on the Sunshine Coast renowned for our quality food and service and amazing views.

The Role:

n

Seeking a qualified chefon full-time basis. This is a hands-on role where you'll be maintaining kitchen standard, delivering consistency during service, and working as part of a motivated and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

n

- Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard set by the Head Chef.
n
- Participate in menu / specials planning and budgeting.
n
- Maintain excellent food presentation and consistency.
n
- Supervising and mentoring of junior kitchen staff;
n
- Follow food safety and hygiene standard at all times.
n




- Work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen.
n
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
n

About You:

n

n
- Trade qualified chef (cert III in commercial cookery or equivalent)
n
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
n
- Robust communication and teamwork skills.
n
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
n
- Passion for food and dedication to quality.
n
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
n
- Must be able to work night shifts and weekends.
n

Remuneration in line with the Restaurant award and Government set salaries for individual applicants.
