A brand new opportunity exists for Registered Nurses to join the dynamic Rehabilitation Team at a private hospital located in Newcastle. These roles involve delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, with permanent full-time, part time and casual opportunities available.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a member of the clinical team, you will be planning, evaluating and delivering care to patients with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse Educators and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to patients.You will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills.

REQUIREMENTS

- Relevant registration with AHPRA;
- Previous experience working across a rehabilitation ward;
- The ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient;
- Exceptional customer service and time management abilities;
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others;
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required;
- Ability to work a flexible rotating roster.
- Minimum 12 monthsof postgraduate experience;

REMUNERATION

$40.24- $56.52per hour.

The hospital, located near Newcastle, provides Medical, Rehabilitation, Surgical & Mental Health Services. The hospital's main surgical focus is in Orthopaedics, Urology, General, Plastics, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology, Faciomaxillary& Paediatrics. It has a Rehabilitation Unit with an experienced team of professionals who work together to assist in a patient's rehabilitation and is one of a few Private Hospitals in the Newcastle & Lake Macquarie area with a Mental Health Unit and Outpatient Mental Health Day Programs.
