As a Collections Officer at Charter Mercantile, you will deliver vital Financial Hardship assistance on behalf of a major Australian bank. No prior experience is required.

You will receive comprehensive, bank-certified online training designed to equip you for a rewarding in the banking and collection agency sectors.

What you'll be doing

- Contacting customers to follow up on late or outstanding payments
- Negotiating and arranging suitable payment plans with customers
- Documenting all customer interactions and payment arrangements
- Identifying and escalating high-risk accounts to management
- Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

- Strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to liaise effectively with customers
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping abilities
- A solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
- A positive, empathetic and professional manner when dealing with customers




- Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
