Booth Partners is looking for an experienced Senior SMSF Accountant to join our team.

This is a genuine work-from-home role for an experienced SMSF accountant who wants to take ownership of their work and manage an SMSF portfolio independently.

n

We are a long-established accounting firm based in Nowra on the NSW South Coast.

n

The Opportunity

n

You will manage an SMSF portfolio from start to finish, including:

n

n
- Preparing SMSF financial statements and tax returns
n
- Using Class Super to complete fund accounts and annual compliance work
n
- Managing investments, contributions, pensions and member balances
n
- Ensuring funds meet their annual compliance and reporting requirements
n
- Following up clients, advisers and auditors when information or clarification is needed
n
- Ensuring files are complete, accurate and ready for audit
n
- Keeping jobs moving
n




- Working through complex SMSF accounting and compliance matters in consultation with the partners.

About You

n

You will have:

n

n
- At least 5 years' SMSF accounting experience in Australian public practice
n
- Strong Class Super experience
n
- The ability to independently prepare and finalise SMSF accounts and tax returns
n
- A sound understanding of SMSF compliance, pensions, contributions, investments and member reporting
n
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
n
- The ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a remote role
n
