About the role

D'Orsogna Limited is seeking Meat Processing Labourers and Packers to join our team on a casual basis. This role is based at our facility in Palmyra, WA 6157. As a Meat Processing Labourer and Packer, you will play a vital role in our production operations, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position is essential to maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our manufacturing processes, supporting our commitment to delivering premium quality products to our customers.

What you'll be doing

n

Processing and preparing meat products according to established company procedures and food safety standards

n

Physical demanding role. Be able to lift 20 kilos

n

Operating and maintaining meat processing equipment safely and effectively

n

Packing finished products into appropriate containers and labelling them accurately with required information

n

Inspecting products for quality and rejecting any items that do not meet our standards

n

Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within your work area in compliance with food safety regulations

n

Following all health and safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

n

Working efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines

n

Assisting with basic equipment cleaning and maintenance tasks

n

Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production issues or concerns

n

What we're looking for

n

Team members that can work 5 days a week plus weekend if needed. Work will be starting from the 21st September 2026.

n

Previous experience in meat processing, food manufacturing, or similar production environments is highly desirable

n





A strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices, or willingness to learn and adhere to rigorous standards

n

Physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods

n

Reliability and punctuality, particularly given the casual nature of this position

n

Attention to detail and commitment to quality in all aspects of work

n

A willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team

n

Basic communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues

n

Current or ability to obtain food handling certification is advantageous

n

Flexibility to work shifts that may include early starts, as required by production schedules
