You will work closely with respected partners across a sophisticated and high-quality portfolio of matters involving some of the key projects and transactions shaping Australia's energy and resources sectors.

The team advises across the full spectrum of major energy and resources transactions, with exposure to market-leading work across renewables, energy transition, infrastructure, mining, oil & gas and natural resources.

Your work will include:

- M&A;, joint ventures and strategic investments across the energy and resources sectors
n
- Project development and transactions involving wind, solar and pumped hydro projects
n
- Battery storage, virtual power and emerging energy technologies
n
- Hydrogen, decarbonisation and energy transition projects
n
- Energy transmission and other major infrastructure projects
n
- Corporate and transactional matters in the mining, oil & gas and natural resources sectors
n
- Complex project development, investment structures and commercial arrangements
n
- Regulatory and foreign investment matters associated with major energy and resources transactions
n

- Project development and transactions involving wind, solar and pumped hydro projects
n
- Battery storage, virtual power and emerging energy technologies
n
- Hydrogen, decarbonisation and energy transition projects

- Energy transmission and other major infrastructure projects

- Corporate and transactional matters in the mining, oil & gas and natural resources sectors
n
- Complex project development, investment structures and commercial arrangements
n
- Regulatory and foreign investment matters associated with major energy and resources transactions

About you:

n

n
- An Energy & Natural Resources, Projects, Corporate or M&A; lawyer with 2-7 years PAE, ideally from a top-tier or leading firm
n
- Experienced in renewables, energy transition, mining, oil & gas, infrastructure, project development or corporate/M&A;
n
- Strong academically (GPA 5.5+ preferred)
n
- Currently operating at Associate or Senior Associate level
n
- Experienced in a Commonwealth jurisdiction or an Australian lawyer returning from overseas
n
- Commercially minded, motivated and interested in developing a career within Australia's dynamic energy and resources sector
n
- Keen to work on complex, high-value transactions alongside leading practitioners in the market
n
