The Role
n This is a broad HR generalist leadership role, overseeing the full employee lifecycle while partnering closely with stakeholders across multiple regions. You'll join a fast-paced and growing business where adaptability, initiative and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships will be key to your success.
n On a day-to-day basis, you will:

n

- Partner with senior leaders and managers to provide HR advice and support
n
- Lead and mentor a small HR team, including HR and Payroll functions
n
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and offboarding
n
- Drive performance management, succession planning, and retention strategies
n
- Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation and internal policies
n
- Oversee payroll processes (with support from a Payroll Officer) and act as a key liaison between shared services on a global level
n

This role operates within a growing regional structure, requiring collaboration across the Australian, Indonesian and PNG teams.

About You

n You'll bring:

n

n
- Proven experience in a senior HR generalist or HR Manager role
n
- Strong end-to-end HR lifecycle experience across operational environments)
n
- Background in industries such as mining, blasting, manufacturing or similar (highly regarded)
n
- Solid knowledge of Australian employment legislation (Fair Work Act, Awards, etc.)
n
- Experience working in complex or matrix organisations
n
- Ability to influence, coach and partner with stakeholders at all levels
n
- Exposure to payroll processes and oversight
n
- Robust problem-solving and solution-driven mindset
n
