Sacca's Fine Foods is a thriving family-owned business known for fresh produce and exceptional community service. As part of our ongoing expansion, we've grown to include butcher and fish departments, and we're excited to welcome a skilled Seafood Assistant to join our dedicated team.

The Role:

n

We operate seven days a week, offering versatile shifts from Monday to Sunday, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. As a Seafood Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our fish department, from preparing and presenting fresh seafood to serving our customers. You'll help maintain the premium reputation of our fish department through great service, cleanliness and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

n

Assist with preparing, presenting and packing a variety of fresh fish and seafood products to meet quality and safety standards

n

Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work environment at all times

n

Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

n

Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

n





Adhere to food safety and workplace health & Safety (WHS) regulations

n

Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members regarding product requirements and workflow

n

Serving customers and providing friendly, knowledgeable advice on our seafood range

n

Setting/merchandising up the window

n

What We're Looking For:

n

Experience in a seafood, butchery or fresh food retail environment is preferred, but not essential - training will be provided

n

Experience in fish filleting is highly desirable

n

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards in a busy environment

n

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

n

Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude

n

Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
