The role
Our client, a regulator within Australia's financial services sector, is looking for a Security Clearance Administrator to provide administrative and coordination support across their personnel security functions.

You'll sit within the Security team, inside a broader Technology, Data and Security division, working closely with stakeholders across the business to make sure requirements are built into everyday processes and line up with the PSPF.

What you'll be doing

- Coordinating security clearance processes, pre-onboarding checks and temporary access arrangements
- Embedding personnel security requirements into onboarding and offboarding
- Maintaining personnel security policies, procedures and guidance material
- Supporting governance activities including overseas travel management, risk assessments and waivers
- Keeping records, reporting and assurance artefacts accurate and audit-ready
- Contributing to executive reporting and continuous improvement of the function

- Sharp attention to detail and good judgement with confidential information
- Clear written and verbal communication
- A pragmatic, risk based approach to problem solving
- The ability to build relationships across different stakeholder groups
- Someone highly organised and trustworthy, who takes protecting sensitive information seriously

Positive to have

- Experience in personnel security, clearances, vetting or a related government security function
- Familiarity with the PSPF
- Background in governance, risk, assurance or compliance
- Experience with process improvement, documentation or records management
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and reporting tools
- A Certificate IV in Government Security, or willingness to work towards one
