Our Therapy and Behaviour Support team works with children and young people aged 0–24 years and their families, providing practical, strengths-based supports that help people participate meaningfully in everyday life.

n

You'll work alongside experienced Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners and other professionals who are passionate about supporting our clients and helping new clinicians develop.

n

About the Role

n

As a Graduate Occupational Therapist, you'll be supported to gradually build your skills and caseload as you transition from university into professional practice.

n

You'll have the opportunity to:

n

n
- Deliver Occupational Therapy supports to children and young people
n
- Support clients with self-care, routines, play, sensory processing, motor skills, emotional regulation and participation
n
- Develop practical strategies in partnership with children, young people and their families
n
- Complete assessments, develop goals and contribute to therapy plans
n
- Work collaboratively with families, schools,



early childhood settings and other professionals
n
- Build your clinical documentation and report‐writing skills
n
- Learn from experienced clinicians through regular supervision and mentoring
n
- Work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team
n
- Participate in professional development, team learning and clinical discussions
n
- Develop experience across different areas of Occupational Therapy practice
n

Your caseload and responsibilities will grow as your confidence and capability develop.

n

About You -Skills and Experience

n

You don't need years of experience - this role is designed for graduates starting their Occupational Therapy career.

n

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, curious, collaborative and ready to learn.

n

You will have:

n

n
- Completed, or be completing in 2026, a recognised Occupational Therapy qualification
n
- Current AHPRA registration, or eligibility to obtain registration before commencing
n
- An interest in working with children, young people and families
n
- A strengths-based and person‐centred approach
n
- Strong communication and relationship‐building skills
n
- A willingness to learn, ask questions and develop your clinical skills
n
- Good organisation and time‐management skills
n
- A current driver's licence and access to an insured vehicle
n
- A valid Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain these
n

n

Placement experience in paediatrics, disability or community services is welcomed but not essential.
