About the Role

n

Reporting to the Branch Manager and working across customer sites (including mining, quarry, smelting, and power generation), your key responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Performing daily mechanical maintenance tasks
n
- Ensuring plant and equipment are protected and reliable
n
- Leading, mentoring, and coordinating trades teams and belt splicers
n




- Carrying out pulley and bearing maintenance
n
- Liaising with clients and managing expectations onsite
n
- Conducting inspections, audits, and reporting to WHSE standards
n
- Supporting the training and development of team members
n

n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Certificate of Proficiency in Engineering – Mechanical or Engineering – Fabrication
n
- Experience with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
n
- Dogging and Rigging tickets
n
- Ability to work independently and lead small teams
n
- Strong communication and client liaison skills
n
- A safety-first mindset with WHSE experience
n
- Comfortable mentoring less experienced staff
n
