Job Description

Working alongside the Restaurant Manager, you will take a leading role in the smooth running of restaurant services and help ensure the front-of-house team consistently delivers the level of service guests expect. On a typical shift, you will oversee a team of approximately six staff, providing direction and support throughout service and ensuring established systems, structured order of service and customer service standards are consistently followed. This is a hands‐on position where you'll be on the floor leading by example, interacting with guests, supporting the team and ensuring the small details that create a excellent restaurant experience are never overlooked.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and supervise the front-of-house team during service
n
- Maintain a high level of hospitality and customer-focused service
n
- Ensure established systems and structured order of service are followed
n
- Maintain presentation, cleanliness and service standards throughout the restaurant
n
- Support, train and develop junior team members
n
- Manage customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally
n
- Work closely with the kitchen and Restaurant Manager to deliver smooth services
n
- Assist with opening and closing procedures and general restaurant operations
n




- Communicate effectively with the wider team before, during and after service
n
- Help build upon the strong standards and positive workplace culture already in place
n

About you

n

n
- Strong restaurant or hospitality experience
n
- Previous experience as a Senior Waiter, Supervisor, Section Leader or similar
n
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
n
- A high level of attention to detail
n
- Confidence to lead and motivate a small team
n
- Ability to remain organised and composed during busy services
n
- Willingness to follow established systems and procedures
n
- Professional, positive and hands‐on approach
n
- Available to work evenings
n
- Good food and wine knowledge, or a genuine interest in developing it
n
- A current NSW RSA
