Warehouse Operations Manager | Logan Area

A large-scale, multi-customer 3PL operation in the Logan area is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead end-to-end warehouse performance across several customer contracts within a high-volume distribution centre environment.

This is a site leadership role with full accountability for people, service delivery, inventory integrity, financial performance and continuous improvement. You will play a critical role in shaping site culture, driving operational discipline and ensuring commercial and customer outcomes are consistently achieved.

The Role

n

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will oversee daily operations across inbound, outbound and inventory functions while leading frontline leadership teams.

Key responsibilities include:

n

- Leading multiple operational teams including supervisors, team leaders, operators and labour hire
n
- Owning service performance across several customer contracts, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met or exceeded
n
- Driving strong inventory management practices, stock accuracy and loss prevention controls
n
- Managing labour planning, workforce structure and cost control in line with budget targets
n
- Contributing to site P&L; performance, productivity improvement and margin optimisation

- Embedding a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with WHS and environmental standards
n
- Partnering with customers to support operational reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
n
- Leading performance management, coaching and capability development across your teams
n

About You

n

n
- Significant experience leading warehouse (ideally 3PL) operations within a high-volume environment
n
- Demonstrated success managing multiple customer contracts and service outcomes
n
- Strong commercial acumen, with exposure to budget management and cost control
n
- Proven people leadership capability, including leading leaders
n
- Solid understanding of inventory management principles and operational reporting
n
- Working knowledge of industrial relations frameworks and enterprise agreements
n
- A practical, data-driven approach to problem solving and operational improvement
n
